WEEK OF JUNE 15, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ROUND 9 - WEEK 11

MONDAY - JUNE 15, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Chest, Back, and Balls

A really good workout. I couldn't do exactly what Tony was doing, so it wasn't as hard, but what I did do made me feel encouraged and like I was accomplishing something. I did band pulldowns instead of pullups and I was actually able to get in a few of the Impossible Pushups.

Start Time: 7:55 pm; Workout Time: 60 minutes; Calories Burned: 298; Avg Heart Rate: 99.

TUESDAY - JUNE 16, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Plyocide

Again, I can't always do what Tony was doing on every move, but I did feel it was an above average workout and not just a "go through the motions" waste of time.

Start Time: 6:55 pm; Workout Time: 67 minutes; Calories Burned: 382; Avg Heart Rate: 104.

WEDNESDAY - JUNE 17, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Shoulders and Arms: MC2

Three for three this week, as this was another good workout. I used the same weights as I had been using the last few rounds, but they were heavy enough to make me feel things.

Start Time: 6:50 pm; Workout Time: 58 minutes; Calories Burned: 310; Avg Heart Rate: 105.

THURSDAY - JUNE 18, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Yoga: MC2

I had a bit of a revelation last week on this workout with my breathing, so I was a bit excited to see if I could repeat it. It may not have been as good as last week, but it was real close. I'm still excited.

Start Time: 6:55 pm; Workout Time: 66 minutes; Calories Burned: 282; Avg Heart Rate: 96.

FRIDAY - JUNE 12, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Base and Back

I still do Band Pulldowns instead of pullups, but they're more effective for me. 16 Pulldowns done properly are more effective than one try at a pullup done ineffectively. I'm not even sure if band assisted pullups would be better than the pulldowns. As far as the plyo moves go, I was actually getting off the floor again, even though not too high. There were times in the past where I couldn't get off the floor at all. It's still not great, and I don't know how long it will last, because my condition is supposed to be degenerative, but I'm still feeling encouraged.

Start Time: 6:50 pm; Workout Time: 51 minutes; Calories Burned: 237; Avg Heart Rate: 97.

SATURDAY - JUNE 13, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Total Body X

I tried doing two moves during the warmup to get them out of the way (Burpee Frog Squats and Spartan Lunges), but I couldn't get off the floor as well as I had on Tuesday and Friday, but maybe my legs were just tired. After that I settled in and the rest of it went OK. Maybe my worst workout of the week, but it was still pretty decent. It's not really that hard to begin with, but I think it was designed that way.

Start Time: 7:30 pm; Workout Time: 42 minutes; Calories Burned: 215; Avg Heart Rate: 100.

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

In all honesty, this may have been my most gratifying week in years, and it built off the previous week a bit. It almost took me back to the times before I got sick, which was about five years ago. On all the workouts I felt really good afterwards and was surprised with what I was still able to accomplish.

WEEK OF JUNE 8, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ROUND 9 - WEEK 10

MONDAY - JUNE 8, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - UBX

This is tougher than it looks, but I like it because I feel like I'm actually accomplishing something. I used the same weights I used the last few times I did it. There were only a few moves where I can see a possible weight increase without hurting myself.

Start Time: 6:20 pm; Workout Time: 60 minutes; Calories Burned: 406; Avg Heart Rate: 114.

TUESDAY - JUNE 9, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Core Synergistics: MC2

I don't like this workout. I can't do most of the moves as he is. Even modifying, I have a hard time doing them. Most of the one legged moves I had to do with both legs to keep my balance, and it seemed like there were a lot of walkout to plank moves near the end, which I don't like. Unlike yesterday's workout, I don't feel like I accomplished anything, but I'm sweating like crazy when I'm done. I skipped the ridiculously long warmup which is basically the same warmup he did in most of the P90X2 workouts.

Start Time: 8:20 pm; Workout Time: 68 minutes; Calories Burned: 302; Avg Heart Rate: 94.

WEDNESDAY - JUNE 10, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - V-Sculpt

I like this workout because it's a strength workout that has a lot of band moves, which is a totally different feel for me. I like the option though. I did pretty good. I did Band Pulldowns instead of Pullups, so that added even more. I felt I got a very good workout in.

Start Time: 6:55 pm; Workout Time: 56 minutes; Calories Burned: 356; Avg Heart Rate: 109.

THURSDAY - JUNE 11, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Yoga: MC2

A bit of a different sensation today. I've been doing Tony's yoga workouts for 18 years and he always says the concentrate on your breathing. Over those years there were very few times where I actually experienced that. Today was one of those days, and it felt great. It wasn't something I was concentrating on doing. I was a bit relaxed going into the workout and realized how I was breathing part way through. Then I concentrated on it a bit more, but eventually just let things happen. I hope I can carry that thinking forward.

Start Time: 7:35 pm; Workout Time: 66 minutes; Calories Burned: 308; Avg Heart Rate: 98.

FRIDAY - JUNE 12, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - P.A.P.

I sat through most of the warmup, as he was going almost too fast, and a lot of it was plyo moves, which I can't do. I did the two complexes with some modifications, and then the cooldown. Hardest moves for me is the Forward to Reverse Lunges. I held 20 lb dumbbells, but my balance is so bad, it wasn't very effective. On the Pushup Side Rows in the second complex I used 25 lb dumbbells with no problems.

Start Time: 7:20 pm; Workout Time: 69 minutes; Calories Burned: 320; Avg Heart Rate: 98.

SATURDAY - JUNE 13, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Stretch and Recovery

This was very surprising as I found myself to be more flexible than I had been in a long time. I was actually excited about that.

Start Time: 8:30 pm; Workout Time: 69 minutes; Calories Burned: 226; Avg Heart Rate: 93.

SUNDAY - JUNE 14, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ARX2

Pretty good. I got all the moves in with very little problem. The Corkscrews got a bit tough at the end, but other than that it was OK.

Start Time: 7:25 pm; Workout Time: 45 minutes; Calories Burned: 166; Avg Heart Rate: 92.

SUNDAY WEIGH IN

Weight: 166.6 (-2.8 lbs)
Body Fat: 15.6% (-0.7%)

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

It was actually encouraging. I'm trying to eat a bit better so the weight and body fat loss numbers made me happy. The increased flexibility on Stretch and Recovery did too. I just feel stronger overall and am still surprised at what I'm able to accomplish.

WEEK OF JUNE 1, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ROUND 9 - WEEK 9

MONDAY - JUNE 1, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Chest, Back, and Balls

Start of month three and One On One Volume 3, which were the tests for P90X2. Tougher workouts in general. Today was alternating Pushups (all on balls, medicine, stability, or both). then Pullups. I did 16 reps on Band Pulldowns instead of the regular Pullups. On the Pushups I did what I could without getting injured, which could be very easy to do here. They weren't always deep or numerous, but I gave an honest effort.

Start Time: 6:30 pm; Workout Time: 60 minutes; Calories Burned: 294; Avg Heart Rate: 100.

TUESDAY - JUNE 2, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Plyocide

I did what I could. I can't jump straight up anymore, so the best I could do was get my heels off the floor a bit. It is what it is.

Start Time: 7:55 pm; Workout Time: 67 minutes; Calories Burned: 320; Avg Heart Rate: 97.

WEDNESDAY - JUNE 3, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Shoulders and Arms: MC2

This was a pretty good workout. Nothing exceptional. I think I probably picked the right weights for most things. One screw up, though. I was going a bit faster than they were and mistakenly did chest presses instead of Tricep extensions on the stability ball. My worksheets said I used 40's last time, so I grabbed two 40 lb dumbbells. They seemed super heavy, so I went down to 30's. When he did the exercise on the video I realized he was only using one dumbbell, so my bad. Anyways, wrong body part but it worked

Start Time: 6:05 pm; Workout Time: 58 minutes; Calories Burned: 329; Avg Heart Rate: 107.

THURSDAY - JUNE 4, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Yoga: MC2

I always dread this one because it's so long and Tony seems to be adding more moves at the end for his own personal benefit, because he likes yoga. However, I did better than I thought I would, and my attitude was better than usual for it. II still had to modify a lot, but overall I'd call it a win.

Start Time: 5:55 pm; Workout Time: 66 minutes; Calories Burned: 383; Avg Heart Rate: 105.

FRIDAY - JUNE 5, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Base and Back

I did Band Pulldowns (16 reps) instead of Pullups. On the plyo moves I just did deep squats instead of jumping. This saved my knees and feet a bit of a beating. This turned it into a much easier workout than what is on the video. I did the warmup, then went a lot faster than Tony on the rest of the moves. I shut the video off when I was done, and stopped the timer. It was still a decent workout for what I did.

Start Time: 5:55 pm; Workout Time: 34 minutes; Calories Burned: 200; Avg Heart Rate: 95.

SATURDAY - JUNE 6, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Total Body X

I had a bit of an upset stomach, but got it done.

Start Time: 7:10 pm; Workout Time: 42 minutes; Calories Burned: 234; Avg Heart Rate: 103.

SUNDAY - JUNE 7, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ARX2

I went off the video. Everything went OK. This is a bit of a weird workout because he's trying so many different things, but for some reason I kind of like it.

Start Time: 7:10 pm; Workout Time: 45 minutes; Calories Burned: 162; Avg Heart Rate: 92.

SUNDAY WEIGH IN
Weight: 169.4 (-1.0 lbs)
Body Fat: 16.2% (-0.1%)

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

Volume Three always scares me a bit because he's getting into some advanced moves, but I got through it OK. Better than I thought I would.
