MONDAY - MARCH 24, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Chest, Back, and Balls
Extremely hard. I used the Pullup Assist on all the pullup moves. I had to modify a bit using it. They were tough. I realized I wasn't engaging my back muscles like I do when using the band pulldowns, so I'm wondering which is really better. I did better on the pushup moves with the balls, but still was cautious, because I'm afraid my hands will slip off the ball and I'll break a wrist. I did 12 on most of those moves, but my form was bad. With the stabilty ball wedged up against my couch, I got in about one half of a "Possible" pushup (I basically bent my elbows slightly). At the end Tony is wiped out and is constantly cautioning everybody to modify, so I don't feel too bad. I'm not where I was three or four years ago, but I tried, and did what I could.Start Time: 6:10 pm; Workout Time: 60 minutes; Calories Burned: 331; Avg Heart Rate: 107.
TUESDAY - MARCH 25, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Plyocide
Prior to the workout, I read what I did the last two times doing it. Both times I said I did better than I thought and was proud that I tried. I carried those thoughts into this one and did the same things. A lot of moves weren't pretty, but I did what I could. I was surprised that I was actually jumping off the floor a bit during the Amp Pipe Spins.

WEDNESDAY - MARCH 26, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Shoulders and Arms: MC2
Very good workout. On the first move, the Alternating Arnold Presses, I did 12 on each side with 25's. I looked at my numbers for the last few times I did this and saw I'd only done 8 reps on each side. The rest of it went well.
Start Time: 7:15 pm; Workout Time: 57 minutes; Calories Burned: 335; Avg Heart Rate: 108.
THURSDAY - MARCH 27, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Yoga: MC2
I've never liked this workout and haven't been looking forward to it. However, today, I decided to just take it one move at a time and deal with it. The first half went OK, but then I started having mental lapses when I decided I couldn't do certain moves or sequences, so I spent a lot of time in Child Pose. When I did attempt to do things, it was ugly. Not good.

FRIDAY - MARCH 28, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Base and Back
My smart TV wasn't recognizing the DVD connection at first, which it does from time to time. It usually takes me several minutes to solve that problem. Once I got that fixed, the DVD wasn't loading. I put in another DVD, which worked, so I thought it was a problem with the disc. After several unsuccessful attempts I found a backup disc I had, but that didn't work either. I was going to do tomorrow's workout instead, but decided to do this one off the workout sheets, because I was pretty familiar with the moves. I had used the pullup assist in the past, but today I decided to do Band Pulldowns because I think they activate my back muscles more. I did 16 on each set. I did 20 reps on each on the plyo moves. They weren't pretty, especially the Runner ones, but overall they weren't bad for what I'm able to do. I'm going to check my old worksheets to see how many reps I'd done in the past. In hind sight, I'm thinking it may have been 30. If so, I'll make adjustments for next time. Instead of a 51 minute workout, I got it done in just under a half hour. .

SATURDAY - MARCH 29, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Total Body X
I started off with the same DVD problems I was having yesterday, then fixed the problem (note to self: hit the play button on the DVD remote). I checked yesterday's DVD too, and that worked also. The workout went pretty good. I had to modify a few things, especially the pullups. On the Crunch Levers, I did band pulldowns. I sat on the floor, pulled the bands down, and did a crunch. It worked OK. The rest went good. I worked up a sweat and was tired at the end.
Start Time: 8:25 pm; Workout Time: 42 minutes; Calories Burned: 256; Avg Heart Rate: 108.
SUNDAY - MARCH 30, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ARX2
I didn't really have any problems. I did 20 reps of each move. Some of them were annoying in the last third of the workout, but I did what I could.
Start Time: 7:25 pm; Workout Time: 45 minutes; Calories Burned: 192; Avg Heart Rate: 96.

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK
Month three's workouts are all tough, but I got through this week OK. I feel good about that. Most people aren't even going to be attempt to do this stuff. I still can't do some of the moves as well as he can, but I modify when necessary and try.
