MONDAY - MAY 11, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Upper Body Balance
At some point you have to admit that you can no longer do some exercises. I'm 68 years hold and have severe nerve damage in my feet. There were several moves here that I did minimal reps or modified, simply because I thought I'd hurt myself. I'm stubborn. In the past, if I couldn't get the exercise right away, I'd keep trying as long as he was doing that move. Today, it was, "Nope, not today. It's not worth the risk.". Most of these challenging moves were pushups on a medicine ball, but there were a few V-ups I was having problems with, specifically straining my lower back. I did what I could, but played it smart. I don't know how I'll feel when this workout comes up again in two weeks.Start Time: 7:15 pm; Workout Time: 52 minutes; Calories Burned: 313; Avg Heart Rate: 108.
TUESDAY - MAY 12, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - On One Leg for Legs
I held onto a chair for most of the moves because I can't balance. It did take that element out of it, but it also allowed me to strengthen my legs a bit, so it was useful .

FRIDAY - MAY 15, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - 100/30/20
No video. I played golf today, for the first time since last September. I got home, laid down to take a nap a bit after 3pm and woke up at 8pm. I think my body was trying to tell me something. My legs were toast and my lower back was feeling a bit strained. I can't jump rope, so the last few times I did this workout, I did 10 burpees instead the 100 jump ropes. Today I just did 100 "fake" jump ropes. The pushups and crunches went fine.
Start Time: 8:25 pm; Workout Time: 33 minutes; Calories Burned: 177; Avg Heart Rate: 100.

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK
For various reasons, I'm finding myself doing a lot of the workouts without the video and instead going off the worksheets. This usually goes a bit faster because of less down time between moves and no running time on the warmup and cooldown.
