MONDAY - JUNE 25, 2018 - P90X - Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps
I generally like this workout. I think Phil is a riot. The only part I'm not a big fan of is the pushups. They tire me out real quick, but I do the best I can and try to get better in someway each time. Sometimes that means more reps. Sometimes it means trying to go deeper, even though that always doesn't work. I like the Shoulder and Tricep moves.
Time: 55 minutes; Calories Burned: 270; Avg Heart Rate: 117; Max Heart Rate: 145.
TUESDAY - JUNE 26, 2018 - P90X - Plyometrics
An average Plyo workout, but that's still pretty good. I did a few more reps here and there, but the way the workout is structured and timed it's tough to do a lot more.
Time: 58 minutes; Calories Burned: 444; Avg Heart Rate: 129; Max Heart Rate: 158.
WEDNESDAY - JUNE 27, 2018 - Back and Biceps
Today is day 45 of the 90 day round, so I'm halfway through. I was feeling a bit weak going into today's workout, but I pushed myself to at least equal or exceed last week's numbers, which were an improvement over the week before that's numbers. The last two week's I'd attempted to start the Strip Set with 40's and failed. Today I didn't even attempt that, as I was struggling with 30's on some of the moves prior to it. Again, I started with 35's and worked my way down to 20's. Pullups are still a weakness, but I keep trying.
Time: 51 minutes; Calories Burned: 318; Avg Heart Rate: 124; Max Heart Rate: 157.
THURSDAY - JUNE 28, 2018 - Yoga X
I've actually been looking forward to Yoga X this round. I still think the vinyasa section is wat too long a drawn out, but I really like the second half and the stretches. I've never considered substituting in one of Tony's shorter yoga workouts. I've stated this almost every week, but I'm amazed at some of my flexibility. I'm getting back to where I was six or seven years ago.
Time: 92 minutes; Calories Burned: 177; Avg Heart Rate: 106; Max Heart Rate: 129.
FRIDAY - JUNE 29, 2018 - P90X - Legs and Back
It went OK. Same weight as usual (25's). Pullups were a little better, but not by much. I think I might try upping the weight on a few of the moves, but I'm already using way more than they are on the video.
Time: 59 minutes; Calories Burned: 255; Avg Heart Rate: 114; Max Heart Rate: 139.
SATURDAY - JULY 30, 2019 - P90X - Kenpo X
Not my best Kenpo workout. I wanted to be doing other things so the intensity wasn't there, but I wasn't dogging it either.
Time: 58 minutes; Calories Burned: 372; Avg Heart Rate: 119; Max Heart Rate: 164.
SUNDAY - JULY 1, 2019 - P90X - Ab Ripper X
Business as usual. No problems. 50 Mason Twists.
Time: 16 minutes; Calories Burned: 54; Avg Heart Rate: 102; Max Heart Rate: 132.
SUNDAY WEIGH IN
Weight: 187.2 (+1.0 lbs)
Body Fat: 19.6% (+0.1%)
No real concerns. I didn't eat perfectly, but not horribly either,
THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK
Everything went well. I'm noticing I'm getting stuck with the same weights and reps on a few of the workouts, but sometimes it's tough to increase those numbers. I'll keep it in mind though. There has to be some moves I can increase things, even if just a little.

WEEK OF 06/18/2018 - P90X - ROUND 11 - WEEK 6
MONDAY - JUNE 18, 2018 - P90X - Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps
I didn't think I did too well on this one last week, as I felt my strength wasn't there. Today was a bit better. I did a few more pushups here and there, and increased my weights a bit on a few of the tricep moves. This is a tougher workout than it seems. I feel a little pump tonight.
Time: 55 minutes; Calories Burned: 296; Avg Heart Rate: 119; Max Heart Rate: 149.
TUESDAY - JUNE 19, 2018 - P90X - Plyometrics
It went pretty well. I did a few more reps om a few of the moves, but nothing earth shattering. I didn't stop too many times.
Time: 58 minutes; Calories burned: 439; Avg Heart Rate: 127; Max Heart Rate: 162.
WEDNESDAY - JUNE 20, 2018 - P90X - Back and Biceps
A good workout that I'd consider a definite success. I upper my weights on a lot of the moves, mostly going from 25's last week to 30's this week, with not a lot of noticeable difference. Once again, I tried starting the final strip set with 40's, but they started slipping on the third rep, so I went back to starting with 35's. I can feel myself getting stronger, so I'm pretty confident I'll be able to start with 40's by the end of the round.
Time: 51 minutes; Calories burned: 326; Avg Heart Rate: 124; Max Heart Rate: 158.
THURSDAY - JUNE 21, 2018 - P90X - Yoga X
A good yoga session.
Time: 92 minutes; Calories burned: 182; Avg Heart Rate: 105; Max Heart Rate: 132.
FRIDAY - JUNE 22, 2018 - P90X - Legs and Back
I played golf this morning on a rather hilly course, so my legs were a bit sore, but I got through it with no problems. I used 25 lbs on all the weighted moves again. My legs are getting toned and I can really feel the muscles in them.
Time: 59 minutes; Calories burned: 293; Avg Heart Rate: 117; Max Heart Rate: 137.
SATURDAY - JUNE 23, 2018 - P90X - Kenpo X
One thing I notice when doing this workout is that my legs are killing me when doing the squat rocks in the warmup. I'm sure it's from beating them up the day before. Once again, the workout went fine. Pullups were OK.
Time: 59 minutes; Calories burned: 380; Avg Heart Rate: 118; Max Heart Rate: 171.
SUNDAY - JUNE 24, 2018 - P90X - Ab Ripper X
I went a little quicker than they did on the video, finishing about a minute before they did. Got all the moves in with no problems. 50 Mason Twists.
Time: 16 minutes; Calories burned: 62; Avg Heart Rate: 108; Max Heart Rate: 130.
SUNDAY WEIGH IN
Weight: 186.2 (-0.6 lbs)
Body Fat: 19.5% (+0.1%)
Didn't eat great.
THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK
The workouts are going good. I'm always thinking "How am I going to get through this workout?" before I start, but I always do. I'm still amazed at that.

WEEK OF 06/11/2018 - P90X - ROUND 11 - WEEK 5
MONDAY - JUNE 11, 2018 - P90X - Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps
Not a good workout. For some reason I felt really weak going into it, and it remained throughout. I was comparing my numbers to what I did four years ago and my numbers were way down, both with the number of reps and the weight used. Hopefully, it was just a bad day. I know I'm sore afterwards.
Time: 55 minutes; Calories Burned: 255; Avg Heart Rate: 114; Max Heart Rate: 142.
TUESDAY - JUNE 12, 2018 - P90X - Plyometrics
I needed a break at work today, so I drove around looking for something to eat.I ended up at Arby's for some reason, got two roast beef bacon cheesy things that I really wasn't hungry for, along with a milk shake. I got back to the office and ate it because I bought it, then felt like crap the rest of the day. My stomach was churning and burning when I got home. There was no way I was doing the workout right away. I took a nap and didn't feel much better. I considered not doing the workout, then considered doing Kenpo instead, then finally decided to do it after my system calmed down a bit. After all that, the workout went well. I need to stop the stress eating.
Time:
WEDNESDAY - JUNE 13, 2018 - P90X - Back and Biceps
I wanted to push myself this round, but I may have went a bit too far today. By the time I got done, my arms were fried and I thought I was going to throw up. The cool down was tough. I was using 40's on the bicep curls, which are on the brink of my limit right now. I was thinking of starting the final strip set with 45's, like Tony, but grabbed 40's instead. They were starting to fall out of my hands after 3 reps, so I went to 35's as the starting weight. The rest were tough, because I was exhausted, but I got through them. I'm wondering what I could do if I was fresh and hadn't just done 23 other moves.
Time:
THURSDAY - JUNE 14, 2018 - P90X - Yoga X
A good session. I felt more relaxed than usual. I'm realizing I'm feeling better. My body seems to be able to do more, and I'm feeling good about that. I may have said it before, but I thing this routine is the thing that holds everything together.
Time: 92 minutes: Calories Burned: 238: Avg Heart Rate:108: Max Heart Rate: 138.
FRIDAY - JUNE 15, 2018 - P90X - Legs and Back
Nothing exceptional. I used 25 weights again on all the weighted moves. Pullups were a bit better than they have been, but not by much.
Time: 59 minutes; Calories Burned: 283; Avg Heart Rate: 114; Max Heart Rate: 137.
SATURDAY - JUNE 16, 2018 - P90X - Kenpo X
Good workout. I enjoyed it. Kenpo is great for a Saturday, at the end of the week, after you've beaten the hell out of your body all week. I look forward to it. Some say it's too easy. I don't care, and think an easier, fun workout is necessary.
Time: 59 minutes; Calories burned: 386l Avg Heart Rate: 118; Max Heart Rate: 153.
SUNDAY - JUNE 17, 2018 - P90X - Ab Ripper X
I was feeling pretty good going in. I got through all the moves OK, including doing all 50 Mason Twists without coming down.
Time: 16 minutes; Calories Burned: 51; Avg Heart Rate: 102; Max Heart Rate: 132.
SUNDAY WEIGH IN
Weight: 186.8 (-1.2 lbs)
Body Fat: 19.4% (-0.2%)
A good bounce back. My weight didn't get back to where I was 2 weeks ago, but it went in the right direction. Eating was better than last week, but could still be better. The Body Fat number is the lowest it's been in years.
THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK
I though I started out slow with Chest, Shoulders, and Tri's on Monday, but I was sore for a few days afterwards, so maybe it wasn't as bad a workout as I thought. All the others went real well. I'm very happy with what I'm doing. I played golf on Friday, and was able to hit a few very long drives, which I know is partly due to these workouts. The strength and flexibility I'm gaining matters a lot. I've been doing other programs for years, but the 90 days on One on Ones I did, plus the five weeks of this one, especially this one, are giving me much better results. Definitely more noticeable. This program is the real deal.

WEEK OF 06/04/2018 - P90X - ROUND 11 - WEEK 4
MONDAY - JUNE 4, 2018 - P90X - Yoga X
I was looking forward to this one today. I usually feel real good when I'm done. I've been a bit stressed the last few days about various things and needed this today. The workout went well. The only thing I was disappointed in was not being able to reach under my leg and grab my fingers in that move.
Time: 92 minutes; Calories Burned: 188; Avg Heart Rate: 103; Max Heart Rate: 130.
TUESDAY - JUNE 5, 2018 - P90X - Core Synergistics
This might be my least favorite P90X workout. I don't like a lot of the moves, especially the ones using weights, and the entire workout just has a strange vibe to it. There's very little music and the entire cast is very quiet throughout. Anyways, the only move I struggled with were the lower Chaturanga Runs. I used 15 lb weight on the X-Presses and the Lunge, Kickback, Curl, Press move. I used 10's on the other ones. I might bump some of them up a bit in the future. One thing I was pleasantly surprised with was that I was able to get up into Bow relatively easy. I can't remember the last time I was able to do that.
Time: 57 minutes; Calories Burned: 306; Avg Heart Rate: 119; Max Heart Rate: 152.
WEDNESDAY - JUNE 6, 2018 - P90X - Cardio X
This is supposed to be Kenpo X day on the Classic Schedule, which is what I'm doing, but I sub in Cardio X because it's not even in the Classic Schedule. and I like to do all the workouts. This one is a bit mild, but it does rev up a bit on a few moves in the last few minutes. I'm always sweating when I'm done. Today was no exception. Good workout for a recovery week.
Time: 43 minutes; Calories Burned: 225; Avg Heart Rate:113; Max Heart Rate: 146.
THURSDAY - JUNE 7, 2018 - P90X - X Stretch
I always look forward to this workout. It's the one day where you're no beating the hell out of your body. Today's workout was total bliss. The weather was great, so I had the windows open to a nice cool breeze. I was relaxed. I was breathing throughout. I was flexible where I shouldn't be. Just a great workout.
Time: 57 minutes; Calories Burned: 110; Avg Heart Rate: 89; Max Heart Rate: 122.
FRIDAY - JUNE 8, 2018 - P90X - Core Synergistics
I came home and got it done. I didn't want to be thinking about having to do it any longer than I had to. It went OK.
Time: 57 minutes; Calories Burned: 396; Avg Heart Rate: 125; Max Heart Rate: 156.
SATURDAY - JUNE 9, 2018 - P90X - Yoga X
I was hoping to keep the momentum going with the breathing from the very relaxing X Stretch I did on Thursday. It carried over in spots but not throughout. I was feeling great when I woke up this morning, but gradually got a bit more sluggish as the day went on. By the time I started around 4 pm I wasn't feeling as perky. It went OK. The flexibility is still better than I thought it would be, but I was still counting down the moves until the vinyasa section was done.
Time: 92 minutes; Calories Burned: 200; Avg Heart Rate: 102; Max Heart Rate: 128.
SUNDAY - JUNE 10, 2018 - Rest
SUNDAY WEIGH IN
Weight: 188.0 (+2.0 lbs)
Body Fat: 19.6% (+0.1%)
Kind of expected. I ate poorly this week, especially at work, where I was stress eating.
THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK
The week went OK workout wise. I love X-Stretch, but really hate the two days of Core Synergistics. The eating was a problem. I'll just have to nip it in the bud.
