WEEK OF 06/18/2018 - P90X - ROUND 11 - WEEK 6

MONDAY - JUNE 18, 2018 - P90X - Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps

I didn't think I did too well on this one last week, as I felt my strength wasn't there. Today was a bit better. I did a few more pushups here and there, and increased my weights a bit on a few of the tricep moves. This is a tougher workout than it seems. I feel a little pump tonight.

Time: 55 minutes; Calories Burned: 296; Avg Heart Rate: 119; Max Heart Rate: 149.


TUESDAY - JUNE 19, 2018 - P90X - Plyometrics

It went pretty well. I did a few more reps om a few of the moves, but nothing earth shattering. I didn't stop too many times.

Time: 58 minutes; Calories burned: 439; Avg Heart Rate: 127; Max Heart Rate: 162.


WEDNESDAY - JUNE 20, 2018 - P90X - Back and Biceps

A good workout that I'd consider a definite success. I upper my weights on a lot of the moves, mostly going from 25's last week to 30's this week, with not a lot of noticeable difference. Once again, I tried starting the final strip set with 40's, but they started slipping on the third rep, so I went back to starting with 35's. I can feel myself getting stronger, so I'm pretty confident I'll be able to start with 40's by the end of the round.

THURSDAY - JUNE 21, 2018 - P90X - Yoga X

A good yoga session.

Time: 92 minutes; Calories burned: 182; Avg Heart Rate: 105; Max Heart Rate: 132.


FRIDAY - JUNE 22, 2018 - P90X - Legs and Back

I played golf this morning on a rather hilly course, so my legs were a bit sore, but I got through it with no problems. I used 25 lbs on all the weighted moves again. My legs are getting toned and I can really feel the muscles in them.

Time: 59 minutes; Calories burned: 293; Avg Heart Rate: 117; Max Heart Rate: 137.


SATURDAY - JUNE 23, 2018 - P90X - Kenpo X

One thing I notice when doing this workout is that my legs are killing me when doing the squat rocks in the warmup. I'm sure it's from beating them up the day before. Once again, the workout went fine. Pullups were OK.

Time: 59 minutes; Calories burned: 380; Avg Heart Rate: 118; Max Heart Rate: 171.


SUNDAY - JUNE 24, 2018 - P90X - Ab Ripper X

I went a little quicker than they did on the video, finishing about a minute before they did. Got all the moves in with no problems. 50 Mason Twists.

Time: 16 minutes; Calories burned: 62; Avg Heart Rate: 108; Max Heart Rate: 130.


SUNDAY WEIGH IN

Weight: 186.2 (-0.6 lbs)
Body Fat: 19.5% (+0.1%)

Didn't eat great.


THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

The workouts are going good. I'm always thinking "How am I going to get through this workout?" before I start, but I always do. I'm still amazed at that.
