WEEK OF APRIL 20, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ROUND 9 - WEEK 3

MONDAY - APRIL 20, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - 30/15

32 pushups. 16 Band Pulldowns. Went well. I feel good.

TUESDAY - APRIL 21, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Plyo Legs

The more I di the more I realize this thing is really a beast, and I don't even go full range of motion. On most moves I don't touch the floor because if I did I'd lose my balance an only get in six reps instead of twenty or thirty. I usually just reach towards the floor. I do what I can do. All the respect in the world for this workout.

WEDNESDAY - APRIL 22, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Just Arms

This was just a straight on old school, no frills workout, and I came through it OK. I used 30's on the Bicep Curls, and I might be ready to try 35's. I used 25's on a few of the tricep moves, and used 20's on a most of the moves near in the bonus round. Unspectacular, but steady and effective.

THURSDAY - APRIL 23, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Fountain of Youth Yoga

Footwear situation. I tried ankle socks covered by calf length sticky socks. They twisted a bit, but it seems like a step in the right direction. I wasn't slipping all over the mat and was able to hold my balance a bit better.

FRIDAY - APRIL 24, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Road Warrior

This used to be a throw away workout where I didn't get much out of it because I was constantly experimenting with which band to use and where to step on the band for proper resistance. Today I used the old Beachbody bands. Yellow for the heavier loads and Maroon for when I needed more latitude in the stretch. I got my foot placement more consistent for each move. This worked out great, and I felt like I got a really wood workout in. 

Start Time: 8:30 pm; Workout Time: 53 minutes; Calories Burned: 360; Avg Heart Rate: 112. 


SATURDAY - APRIL 25, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Super Cardio

Nothing major here. I got through it. I modified two moves, the side twisty lunges and the 180 jumps. I lose my balance on both, so I replaced them with Low to High Twists and Soccer Drills respectively.

SUNDAY - APRIL 26, 2026 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Killer Abs

Once again, I did this from the worksheets instead of the video, and did the tougher moves first. It went OK.

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

I'm obviously a bit surprised at the weight and body fat gains, but I did have a few donuts mid week that I haven't had in a long time. Maybe that was it. I'll just keep an eye on it. I don't anticipate repeating the donut thing. I thought the workouts themselves went very well.
