WEEK OF 06/16/2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ROUND 8 - WEEK 4

MONDAY - JUNE 16, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Recovery for Results

Not much to say. I'm starting to know the routine better which helps.

Start Time: 7:15 pm; Workout Time: 38 minutes; Calories Burned: 238; Avg Heart Rate: 108.

TUESDAY - JUNE 17, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Bun Shaper

Pretty good. I got started really late, but got it done. I did both sets of Eight Card Pickups several hours ahead to tome to get them out of the way. During the workout I'm slower on that move than Tony, so I'm usually trying to rush and get ahead on moves so I don't fall behind. By doing them before the workout, it took all of that out of the equation, and I was able to concentrate on the other moves better. It went well.

Start Time: 9:55 pm; Workout Time: 49 minutes; Calories Burned: 304; Avg Heart Rate: 109.

WEDNESDAY - JUNE 4, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Diamond Delts

I used pretty much the same weights I had been using, but tried using 20's on the second set of Y-Presses and did OK. Good workout.

Start Time: 9:40 pm; Workout Time: 36 minutes; Calories Burned: 210; Avg Heart Rate: 1089.

THURSDAY - JUNE 5, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Fountain of Youth

The usual. Not really into it and stumbling around because of my balance issues, which doesn't help me trying to stay relaxed.

Start Time: 6:15 pm; Workout Time: 47 minutes; Calories Burned: 244; Avg Heart Rate: 101.

FRIDAY - JUNE 6, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Mammoth UML

I went a lot faster than they did on the video because I just wanted to get it done, but don't think I compromised anything. I substituted moves in the last set because I couldn't do the ones he was doing. Wide Pushups instead of Plyo Skippers and some weak Mary Katherine's instead of the Jump Knee Tucks. I just sat and relaxed during the last fifteen minutes.

Start Time: 7:00 pm; Workout Time: 55 minutes; Calories Burned: 317; Avg Heart Rate: 106.

SATURDAY - JUNE 7, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Medicine Ball Core Cardio

I remembered I put in a very poor effort on this one two weeks ago, and didn't want that to happen again, so I put more effort into it. Some of the results still weren't pretty, but my attitude was much better.

Start Time: 6:45 pm; Workout Time: 36 minutes; Calories Burned: 223; Avg Heart Rate: 107.

Wednesday, June 11, 2025

WEEK OF 06/09/2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ROUND 8 - WEEK 3

MONDAY - JUNE 9, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - 30-15

32 pushups, 16 Band pulldowns. Everything went well for a good workout.

Start Time: 6:30 pm; Workout Time: 58 minutes; Calories Burned: 308; Avg Heart Rate: 103.

TUESDAY - JUNE 10, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Plyo Legs

I just take this thing one move at a time and do the best I can on each move. There are certain ones I have to modify a lot, but I get it done.

Start Time: 6:20 pm; Workout Time: 63 minutes; Calories Burned: 386; Avg Heart Rate: 108.

WEDNESDAY - JUNE 9, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Just Arms

Good workout. Some I take more seriously than others. Mostly the concentrated strength ones over the full body and cardio ones. I used pretty much the same weights as last time, but did both sets of Crazy 8's with 20's. Last time I'd done one set with 15's. I can't hold my static arm at 45 degrees for a long time when doing them, but the other arm is getting a workout. Only miscue I had was on the first set of Forearm Curls where I grabbed 10's on the first set. I upped it to 15's on the second set when I realized my mistake.

Start Time: 8:35 pm; Workout Time: 46 minutes; Calories Burned: 339; Avg Heart Rate: 119.

THURSDAY - JUNE 12, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Fountain of Youth

Much better than the last two weeks. I just tried to shut off the mind chatter telling me I wanted for it to be over. I calmed my mind a bit and took it one move at a time. I certainly wasn't full zen, but it wasn't bad overall.

Start Time: 7:25 pm; Workout Time: 47 minutes; Calories Burned: 245; Avg Heart Rate: 100.

FRIDAY - JUNE 13, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Road Warrior

I was never a big fan of this workout because I never got the most out of it. I was always disorganized with switching bands, where to put my feet, and he was going so fast I could never concentrate on the actual moves. Today I had a plan. I was using the heavier blue band for the bicep and back moves and the lighter yellow band for shoulders and triceps. I also coordinated the move sequence so I could do the blue ones back to back, and the same with the yellow. I used a chair for lunges. I actually got a pretty decent workout. Will look forward to it next time.

Start Time: 6:35 pm; Workout Time: 53 minutes; Calories Burned: 354; Avg Heart Rate: 111.

SATURDAY - JUNE 14, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Super Cardio

I did better than I did two weeks ago. I tried a bit harder and was mentally into the workout than before. There were still some modifications, but I was pleased with the better effort.

Start Time: 7:45 pm; Workout Time: 46 minutes; Calories Burned: 254; Avg Heart Rate: 103.

SUNDAY - JUNE 15, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Killer Abs

Same thing as the last few week. I did the workout off the worksheets and did the harder moves first to get them out of the way. The moves went good.

Start Time: 9:35 pm; Workout Time: 19 minutes; Calories Burned: 101; Avg Heart Rate: 99.

SUNDAY WEIGH IN

Weight: 169.8 (-1.2 lbs)
Body Fat: 16.3% (+0.1%)

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

I felt better than the first two weeks for sure. Happy with the weight loss.

WEEK OF 06/02/2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ROUND 8 - WEEK 2

MONDAY - JUNE 2, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Recovery for Results

I kind on needed this today. I'm only one week in am already feeling a bit fatigued. I took four weeks off between rounds, which should have been enough, but maybe not. I'm lso a bit mentally fatigued for various reasons, so maybe that had something to do with it.

Start Time: 7:50 pm; Workout Time: 38 minutes; Calories Burned: 175; Avg Heart Rate: 96.

TUESDAY - JUNE 3, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Bun Shaper

I was doing OK, then got a phone call about two-thirds of the way in. I finished strong.

Start Time: 5:50 pm; Workout Time: 49 minutes; Calories Burned: 337; Avg Heart Rate: 113.

WEDNESDAY - JUNE 4, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Diamond Delts

Again, I was feeling a bit weak going into it. I pretty much used the same weights and reps as last time, except on the Arnold Presses, where I decreased from 25's to 20's, and also on the Y-Presses, where I decreased from 20's to 15's. I remembered really struggling with those weights four months ago, so I'm OK with the drop down. I think it was smart.

Start Time: 7:45 pm; Workout Time: 36 minutes; Calories Burned: 222; Avg Heart Rate: 112.

THURSDAY - JUNE 5, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Fountain of Youth

I'm really having a hard time getting into the yoga lately. It's like I can't wait until it's over. No relaxation whatsoever.

Start Time: 6:45 pm; Workout Time: 47 minutes; Calories Burned: 266; Avg Heart Rate: 104.

FRIDAY - JUNE 6, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Mammoth UML

One move at a time and it worked out OK.

Start Time: 7:20 pm; Workout Time: 55 minutes; Calories Burned: 291; Avg Heart Rate: 108.

SATURDAY - JUNE 7, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Medicine Ball Core Cardio

This was just a very poor effort. I had no energy or desire to push myself, and was barely going through the motions.

Start Time: 6:40 pm; Workout Time: 36 minutes; Calories Burned: 174; Avg Heart Rate: 96.

SUNDAY - JUNE 8, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Killer Abs

Once again, I did this one without the video. I do the moves I don't like first to get them out of the way. It wasn't horrible.

Start Time: 8:45 pm; Workout Time: 19 minutes; Calories Burned: 98; Avg Heart Rate: 111.

SUNDAY WEIGH IN

Weight: 171.0 (+2.2 lbs)
Body Fat: 16.2% (-0.5%)

I'm not sure how that worked out, but I'll take the drop in body far.

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

I'm mentally and physically tired. I'm thinking the physical is coming from the mental. I took for weeks off between rounds, but it doesn't seem like it helped.

WEEK OF 05/26/2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ROUND 8 - WEEK 1

Back at it after a month off. Some health issues have cropped up, mostly from my Charcot Marie-Tooth disease that I have that causes some loss of muscle and neuropathy in my feet and hands. About a week after my last round ended, I started having problems driving because of my feet. It's a pain in the ass, but I'm looking for alternatives. I'm also trying to hold things off the the rigorous exercising, so I'm keeping a positive outlook. Except for some cardio routines where I have to move my feet quickly, and any balance moves, I'm doing OK with the workouts. Starting Weight is 170.8 and starting Body Fat is 16.7.

MONDAY - MAY 26, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - 30-15

I did 32 pushups and 16 Band Pulldowns on each set. I really can't do standard pullups anymore, and even those with the pullup assist are with bad form, so I've been doing Band Pulldown instead. I wrap a resistance band around the pullup bar, sit directly underneath it and pull down. I make sure I engage my back muscles on each rep. It seems to work. Certainly better than trying to do something I can't do with bad form. I did a few "bonus" pushups and pull downs at the end to get to an even 400 and 200 respectively. I did tire a bit on the pushups near near the end.

Start Time: 12:00 pm; Workout Time: 58 minutes; Calories Burned: 370; Avg Heart Rate: 111.

TUESDAY - MAY 27, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Plyo Legs

My legs were a bit tired going into it, so I was wondering how I was going to get through it, but I did. I just took it one move at a time, and modified a lot when I needed to. Overall, it wasn't bad, maybe a bit better than what I was expecting.

Start Time: 6:30 pm; Workout Time: 64 minutes; Calories Burned: 396; Avg Heart Rate: 109.

WEDNEDAY - MAY 28, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Just Arms

I used pretty much the same weights I'd used the last few times I did the workout, maybe increasing it on a move or two. It went well.

Start Time: 6:35 pm; Workout Time: 46 minutes; Calories Burned: 289; Avg Heart Rate: 114.

THURSDAY - MAY 29, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Fountain of Youth

It was a bit disjointed. I wasn't relaxed and just wanted to get it over with.

Start Time: 6:25 pm; Workout Time: 47 minutes; Calories Burned: 195; Avg Heart Rate: 96.

FRIDAY - MAY 30, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Road Warrior

There was something I wanted to watch on TV, so I did the workout off the worksheets instead of the video. It was a bit nicer because I was going at a better pace, and was able to switch between bands as needed, instead of mostly using the lighter one because I hadn't had time to switch.

Start Time: 7:55 pm; Workout Time: 44 minutes; Calories Burned: 288; Avg Heart Rate: 109.

SATURDAY - MAY 31, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Super Cardio

I modified a few moves because I couldn't jump, but got it done. Nothing special.  .

Start Time: 7:05 pm; Workout Time: 46 minutes; Calories Burned: 238; Avg Heart Rate: 100.

SUNDAY - JUNE 1, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Killer Abs

Again, I went off the worksheets instead of the video. I did the moves I didn't like first, to get them out of the way, then finished with the easier ones, and finished with 50 Mason Twists, because that's how you finish the original Ab Ripper X.

Start Time: 9:45 pm; Workout Time: 29 minutes; Calories Burned: 124; Avg Heart Rate: 95.

SUNDAY WEIGH IN

Weight: 168.7 (-2.0 lbs)
Body Fat: 16.7% (no change)

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

I was generally feeling a little bit tired and weak throughout the week, but got everything done, and don't think I decreased anything from the previous round. I'm working from home for a while, so I'm not ordering out everyday from work. I think that helped the weight loss.

Tuesday, April 22, 2025

WEEK OF 04/21/2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ROUND 7 - WEEK 13

MONDAY - APRIL 21, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Fountain of Youth

I felt pretty good throughout, but there was a few times where I getting tired of all the vinyasas.

Start Time: 7:15 pm; Workout Time: 47 minutes; Calories Burned: 254; Avg Heart Rate: 102.

TUESDAY - APRIL 22, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Patience Hummingbird

This is supposed to be slow and relaxing, and I did it that way.

Start Time: 7:00 pm; Workout Time: 36 minutes; Calories Burned: 170; Avg Heart Rate: 99.

WEDNESDAY - APRIL 23, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Yoga: MC2

Not my favorite yoga routine. I'm also doing it tomorrow so I can get it out of the way. Today's version was OK. I was patient and just took it one move at a time, instead of fighting it

Start Time: 7:15 pm; Workout Time: 47 minutes; Calories Burned: 254; Avg Heart Rate: 102.

THURSDAY - APRIL 24, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Yoga: MC2

Back to back on this one. Not as good as yesterday's effort. I was more impatient today because I just wanted to get it over with. It's just too long and repetitive, It almost seems like a Tony ego trip and he's dragging us along with him. Five shoulder stretched. I think there was that many Half Moon's also. Much of it just felt unnecessary.

Start Time: 7:05 pm; Workout Time: 66 minutes; Calories Burned: 366; Avg Heart Rate: 103.

FRIDAY - APRIL 25, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Patience Hummingbird

This is the shortest of the three and also the simplest. It was welcomed today. I was a bit more patient today and got through it OK.

Start Time: 8:25 pm; Workout Time: 36 minutes; Calories Burned: 173; Avg Heart Rate: 98.

SATURDAY - APRIL 26, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Fountain of Youth

Last workout of the round. I picked this one to both start and end the week because it seems to be a good mix of easy and harder moves and the time seems reasonable. I did get interrupted half way through with a couple of long phone calls, but I finished up OK. My concentration wasn't always there, but I've had worse yoga days. It was a goo way to finish up, and I'm satisfied with it.

Start Time: 2:45 pm; Workout Time: 47 minutes; Calories Burned: 271; Avg Heart Rate: 104.

SUNDAY - APRIL 27, 2025 - Rest

SUNDAY WEIGH IN

Weight:173.2 (-1.1 lbs)
Body Fat: 16.9% (-0.3%)

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

The six days of yoga really is a good way to finish. I'm still not a fan of the MC2 one, but I got through both days of it.

THOUGHTS ON THE ROUND

Once again, I liked it a lot. It's not easy, which is one of the reasons I do like it. There is also a lot of variety, so I don't get bored. There are a few workouts I like less than the others, but I get the reasoning behind them. Overall, I gained 0.4 lbs and 0.1% body fat over the 13 weeks, so obviously that wasn't the main takeaway from this round. Keeping in shape and increasing mu numbers a bit was.

WEEK OF APRIL 14, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ROUND 7 - WEEK 12

MONDAY - APRIL 14, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - UBX

Again, this can be a tough workout. I pretty much did what I did last time. I was really sweating by the end, and I know I'm going to feel it later. The only thing I tried to increase was going from 15's to 20's on the second set of the Scarecrow Presses. It may have been a bit too much for today. I had a problem controlling the weight, especially when I was bringing my arms together. I also increased my reps from last time on the 4 Ball Pike Presses, going from 6 to 10 reps on the first set. Went back to 6 on the second set.

Start Time: 6:20 pm; Workout Time: 60 minutes; Calories Burned: 396; Avg Heart Rate: 114.

TUESDAY - APRIL 15, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Core Synergistics: MC2

I'm not even going to pretend I did good on this. I modified, or did less range of motion, on almost every single moves. It's just the way things are. I did work up a sweat, so I was working. It just wasn't pretty.

Start Time: 6:55 pm; Workout Time: 67 minutes; Calories Burned: 335; Avg Heart Rate: 100.

WEDNESDAY - APRIL 16, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - V Sculpt

Pretty good workout. I certainly didn't cheat myself. I did Band Pulldowns instead of Pullups. I increased my go to weight on the bicep moves from 20's to 25's. I started the Strip Set with 30's. No real problems. I like the band moves a lot.

Start Time: 7:20 pm; Workout Time: 56 minutes; Calories Burned: 306; Avg Heart Rate: 105.

THURSDAY - APRIL 17, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - YOGA: MC2

Pretty much what I've been doing with this routine the last few times. I just do what I can.

Start Time: 7:30 pm; Workout Time: 66 minutes; Calories Burned: 347; Avg Heart Rate: 102.

FRIDAY - APRIL 18, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - P.A.P.

This went OK. I did most of the warmup, only skipping the second round of the "heated moves". I used 20's on the Front to Back Lunges and 25's on the Pushup Lat Rows. I did have to modify a few of the other moves, but overall I think I accomplished most of what was supposed to be accomplished.

Start Time: 7:50 pm; Workout Time: 69 minutes; Calories Burned: 367; Avg Heart Rate: 102.

SATURDAY - APRIL 19, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Stretch and Recovery

This is a very long workout and I have a tendency to look towards the end and not concentrate on the individual stretches. On most of the stretches you are holding them for longer periods of time and I don't always have the patience to relax into the stretch and get the benefit of it. It's more like "what's next?". Today was like that on a lot of the stretches. During the legs section, which seems extra, extra long, I subbed in a few stretches on my own because I was bored with what he was doing. Probably not the best thing, but it is what is is, at least for today.

Start Time: 6:25 pm; Workout Time: 69 minutes; Calories Burned: 246; Avg Heart Rate: 95.

SUNDAY - APRIL 20, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ARX2

Pretty much the same as the last few weeks. I was a bit ahead of them and messed up one of the moves, but nothing major. Decent workout.

Start Time: 6:35 pm; Workout Time: 45 minutes; Calories Burned: 230; Avg Heart Rate: 101.

SUNDAY WEIGH IN

Weight: 174.4 (-0.6 lbs)
Body Fat: 17.2% (+0.2%)

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

I'm feeling pretty good. This was the last week of the "strength" workouts. I'm sore a lot, but it's a good sore and means I'm working hard. I'm also not getting mentally burned out. All that's left is a week of yoga.

Monday, April 7, 2025

WEEK OF APRIL 7, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ROUND 7 - WEEK 11

MONDAY - APRIL 7, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Chest, Back, and Balls

Today I did Band Pulldowns on the pullup moves. 16 reps each. Two weeks ago I used the pullup assist at 12 reps each. I just feel I'm engaging my back more with the band. I did what I could with the ball pushups. On The "Possible's" and Three Ball Military's I had the stability ball behind me, but wedged it up against the couch so it wouldn't roll so much. I was able to keep my feet on it and got in 6 and 16 reps respectively. I went much faster than they did on the video and finished 6 or 7 moves ahead of them, without cheating. I feel good about the workout.

Start Time: 6:40 pm; Workout Time: 60 minutes; Calories Burned: 347; Avg Heart Rate: 106.

TUESDAY - APRIL 8, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Plyocide

I do what I can on this workout because I can't jump straight up, and a lot of the moves here require that. It went OK, but was a bit disjointed because I had to stop a few times for phone calls. It wasn't a bad workout. It just ended up being what it was.

Start Time: 6:30 pm; Workout Time: 66 minutes; Calories Burned: 355; Avg Heart Rate: 103.

WEDNESDAY - APRIL 9, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Shoulders and Arms: MC2

Pretty good. Same weights as last time, but I'm not sure where I could have increased them without bad form.

Start Time: 8:15 pm; Workout Time: 58 minutes; Calories Burned: 376; Avg Heart Rate: 113.

THURSDAY - APRIL 10, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Yoga: MC2

I started earlier than usual because I wanted to watch the Sabres game. I got in almost all of the moves. Nothing exciting to report. I just got it done.

Start Time: 5:45 pm; Workout Time: 66 minutes; Calories Burned: 422; Avg Heart Rate: 120.

FRIDAY - APRIL 11, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Base and Back

Lame, almost by design. I'm tired and a bit sore. I just didn't feel like killing myself today. The Band Pulldowns (done instead of pullups) went well. I concentrated on engaging my back muscles on each rep. However, on the plyo moves, I didn't go deep. I knew it, and didn't really seem to feel guilty. I work hard on most days, just not today.

Start Time: 8:10 pm; Workout Time: 51 minutes; Calories Burned: 228; Avg Heart Rate: 96.

SATURDAY - APRIL 12, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Total Body X

This is a shorter workout. 16 moves. Upper, Cardio, Middle, Lower. There are a few moves that are tiring, but nothing extremely bad. I did pretty good.

Start Time: 5:35 pm; Workout Time: 42 minutes; Calories Burned: 262; Avg Heart Rate: 109.

SUNDAY - APRIL 13, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - X2 Ab Ripper

I know the moves, so I went faster than he did on the video, then relaxed on the mat while he finished up. Everything went OK. 20 reps of each move.

Start Time: 4:00 pm; Workout Time: 45 minutes; Calories Burned: 217; Avg Heart Rate: 99.

SUNDAY WEIGH IN

Weight: 175.0 (+1.2 lbs)
Body Fat: 17.0% (-0.2%)

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

These volume three workouts are long and tough, but I'm getting through them OK. I had to modify in spots, but that's OK. I'm starting to tire a bit, staying sore a bit longer, but maybe that just means I'm working harder. I'm definitely feeling a bit stronger.

Monday, March 31, 2025

WEEK OF MARCH 31, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ROUND 7 - WEEK 10

MONDAY - MARCH 31, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - UBX

Tough workout, but I did it and feel good about it. I had to modify a few moves with my back feet/foot on a medicine ball, but the rest went pretty good.

Start Time: 6:20 pm; Workout Time: 60 minutes; Calories Burned: 396; Avg Heart Rate: 114.

TUESDAY - APRIL 1, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Core Synergistics: MC2

I physically can't do a lot of the moves because they require some semblance of balance. Others I held back a bit for fear of hurting myself. I generally don't like the workout, but I went into it with an open mind and modified where I could. Overall, it wasn't great execution, but there was some effort there. I didn't just throw my hands up in the air and say I can't do it.

Start Time: 7:00 pm; Workout Time: 68 minutes; Calories Burned: 300; Avg Heart Rate: 99.

WEDNESDAY - APRIL 2, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - V-Sculpt

A lot of band moves. On most of them I wrapped a band around a piano leg and did the moves sitting on the floor. A few I did standing. On the pullup moves, I wrapped a different band around my pullup bar, sat on the floor, and did band pulldowns. On the weighted moves, I mostly used 20's, but threw some 25's in there. In the future, 25's should be my minimum, except for the final sequence of Down The Rack. This is a different workout than most, because it's mostly bands, but I like using them as a change of pace, and did feel I got a decent workout in. One thing I did notice was that he seemed to be moving from one move to another faster than in most workouts. Not a problem once you get used to the pace, but not the norm, either.

Start Time: 7:15 pm; Workout Time: 56 minutes; Calories Burned: 335; Avg Heart Rate: 108.

THURSDAY - APRIL 3, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Yoga: MC2

Last week I sat through a lot of it. Today I think I only sat through one move, and that was the "Bird of Paradise" thing he did near the end. It wasn't always pretty, but I was very happy with my effort, as I normally don't like this workout.

Start Time: 6:30 pm; Workout Time: 66 minutes; Calories Burned: 354; Avg Heart Rate: 103.

FRIDAY - APRIL 4, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - P.A.P.

This went better than I thought it was going to. I did almost all of the warmup, which I've skipped a few times in the past. I had to modify a few moves in the main part of the workout, but still got a good workout in.

Start Time: 8:00 pm; Workout Time: 69 minutes; Calories Burned: 415; Avg Heart Rate: 107.

SATURDAY - APRIL 5, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Stretch and Recovery

I normally like stretch workouts, and this one is no exception, but it's long, and sometimes you just want to get it done with. I'm not as flexible as I used to be, but generally did OK.

Start Time: 6:15 pm; Workout Time: 69 minutes; Calories Burned: 238; Avg Heart Rate: 93.

SUNDAY - APRIL 6, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ARX2

I went a but faster than they did because I wanted to get it over with, then rested while he did the last few moves. I did 20 reps of each move. No real issues.

Start Time: 6:40 pm; Workout Time: 45 minutes; Calories Burned: 190; Avg Heart Rate: 97.

SUNDAY WEIGH IN

Weight: 173.8 (+0,2 lbs)
Body Fat: 17.2% (-0.1%)

WEEK OF MARCH 24, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ROUND 7 - WEEK 9

MONDAY - MARCH 24, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Chest, Back, and Balls

Extremely hard. I used the Pullup Assist on all the pullup moves. I had to modify a bit using it. They were tough. I realized I wasn't engaging my back muscles like I do when using the band pulldowns, so I'm wondering which is really better. I did better on the pushup moves with the balls, but still was cautious, because I'm afraid my hands will slip off the ball and I'll break a wrist. I did 12 on most of those moves, but my form was bad. With the stabilty ball wedged up against my couch, I got in about one half of a "Possible" pushup (I basically bent my elbows slightly). At the end Tony is wiped out and is constantly cautioning everybody to modify, so I don't feel too bad. I'm not where I was three or four years ago, but I tried, and did what I could.

Start Time: 6:10 pm; Workout Time: 60 minutes; Calories Burned: 331; Avg Heart Rate: 107.

TUESDAY - MARCH 25, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Plyocide

Prior to the workout, I read what I did the last two times doing it. Both times I said I did better than I thought and was proud that I tried. I carried those thoughts into this one and did the same things. A lot of moves weren't pretty, but I did what I could. I was surprised that I was actually jumping off the floor a bit during the Amp Pipe Spins.

Start Time: 7:15 pm; Workout Time: 67 minutes; Calories Burned: 350; Avg Heart Rate: 102.

WEDNESDAY - MARCH 26, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Shoulders and Arms: MC2

Very good workout. On the first move, the Alternating Arnold Presses, I did 12 on each side with 25's. I looked at my numbers for the last few times I did this and saw I'd only done 8 reps on each side. The rest of it went well.

Start Time: 7:15 pm; Workout Time: 57 minutes; Calories Burned: 335; Avg Heart Rate: 108.

THURSDAY - MARCH 27, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Yoga: MC2

I've never liked this workout and haven't been looking forward to it. However, today, I decided to just take it one move at a time and deal with it. The first half went OK, but then I started having mental lapses when I decided I couldn't do certain moves or sequences, so I spent a lot of time in Child Pose. When I did attempt to do things, it was ugly. Not good.

Start Time: 7:00 pm; Workout Time: 66 minutes; Calories Burned: 347; Avg Heart Rate: 102.

FRIDAY - MARCH 28, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Base and Back

My smart TV wasn't recognizing the DVD connection at first, which it does from time to time. It usually takes me several minutes to solve that problem. Once I got that fixed, the DVD wasn't loading. I put in another DVD, which worked, so I thought it was a problem with the disc. After several unsuccessful attempts I found a backup disc I had, but that didn't work either. I was going to do tomorrow's workout instead, but decided to do this one off the workout sheets, because I was pretty familiar with the moves. I had used the pullup assist in the past, but today I decided to do Band Pulldowns because I think they activate my back muscles more. I did 16 on each set. I did 20 reps on each on the plyo moves. They weren't pretty, especially the Runner ones, but overall they weren't bad for what I'm able to do. I'm going to check my old worksheets to see how many reps I'd done in the past. In hind sight, I'm thinking it may have been 30. If so, I'll make adjustments for next time. Instead of a 51 minute workout, I got it done in just under a half hour. .

Start Time: 8:10 pm; Workout Time: 29 minutes; Calories Burned: 189; Avg Heart Rate: 106.

SATURDAY - MARCH 29, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - Total Body X

I started off with the same DVD problems I was having yesterday, then fixed the problem (note to self: hit the play button on the DVD remote). I checked yesterday's DVD too, and that worked also. The workout went pretty good. I had to modify a few things, especially the pullups. On the Crunch Levers, I did band pulldowns. I sat on the floor, pulled the bands down, and did a crunch. It worked OK. The rest went good. I worked up a sweat and was tired at the end.

Start Time: 8:25 pm; Workout Time: 42 minutes; Calories Burned: 256; Avg Heart Rate: 108.

SUNDAY - MARCH 30, 2025 - TONY HORTON ONE ON ONE - ARX2

I didn't really have any problems. I did 20 reps of each move. Some of them were annoying in the last third of the workout, but I did what I could.

Start Time: 7:25 pm; Workout Time: 45 minutes; Calories Burned: 192; Avg Heart Rate: 96.

SUNDAY WEIGH IN

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

Month three's workouts are all tough, but I got through this week OK. I feel good about that. Most people aren't even going to be attempt to do this stuff. I still can't do some of the moves as well as he can, but I modify when necessary and try.
